Techjet File Preparation Guidelines
For best print quality and fastest turn times please read and understand this document. If you have questions concerning file prep please call Jeff Hartup 360.260.4340 or 360.852.1686.
Accepted file formats in order of preference:
- Illustrator EPS with outlines CS2 or Earlier
- Illustrator .AI CS2 or Earlier
- ADOBE Photo Shop
- ADOBE In design
- Please approve all other file formats prior to submitting to Techjet Imaging
File Resolution
Our print output resolution ranges for 720dpi to 1440 dpi depending on the print application, however our RIP software requires only 100-150dpi (at full size). Files submitted at higher resolutions will only delay the print process.
Other
- Convert all fonts to outlines
- Convert color mode to CMYK
- Call out any PMS Colors
- Where possible include an approved color match CMYK Print
- Raster effects will not scale so please build files with effects at full size whenever possible.
